Before the CTO, $HOODL was actually moving really well. We got close to a $100K MC, retraced to around $60K, and started building a strong base there. At this point, the Dev had already built a game, had the website running, and the X account was active too. The community started rallying around it again, and it looked like we were on our way back to ATH.

Then people noticed a Dev sell on the chart. He explained that he sold to recover the money he had spent setting up the DEX, but the way it was communicated and the way some people were spoken to broke the trust that had been building. People started selling, and HOODL dropped all the way down to around $17K MC.

That's when one man stepped up and decided to lead the CTO.

People came back. The community started moving again and HOODL started recovering.

Looking back at everything, one of the biggest problems was communication. If the situation had been communicated properly, people would've been willing to contribute and help cover the costs. Nobody wanted the project to fail.

Now there is no Dev running $HOODL.

It's simply a group of individuals who decided that we want to make this work.

Creator royalties have been taken away from the previous Dev, thanks to the team at @justhootfun, and people have voluntarily stepped up to keep everything running.

We now have people handling socials, Telegram mods, and a Dev working on things for the community; we're almost done with the website rebrand, and there's a lot more activity coming.

Since the launch of $HOODL, HOODL holders have been rewarded for holding, but those rewards were being paid in HOODL.

We made a proposal to the team, and it has been accepted.

Going forward, $HOODL holders will be rewarded in $HOOT for holding HOODL.🦉

And this is just the beginning.

The HOOT ecosystem is just brewing up, and HOODL will be the one leading, there's a lot more in store. The goal is to gradually build something with actual community value and position $HOODL as a leading community, not just another token that comes and goes.

We're still early. We're still figuring things out. We're still building.
