ANNOUNCEMENT part 1
Four teams have left the 42 year old Jayhawk League to join the Sunflower League, which has only been in operation for 2 seasons. These teams are Derby, Great Bend, Haysville and El Dorado.

The remaining teams, Liberal, Hays, Dodge City & Oklahoma are still committed to the Jayhawk League and plans to keep the league viable began last week, and are ongoing. Stay tuned for more information about that. Thank you to all of our fans for your support!

The reason each team gave was an inability to raise the funds necessary to compete in the Jayhawk League. There was very little communication from these teams before this happened and we wish we could have tried to work it out.

Inopportune miscues bite the Larks again as they fall 6-5 to the BeeJays in 11 innings. Larks are 34-10 (26-9) on the season and will wrap up the regular season tomorrow night at 7pm at Larks Park

The First Week Schedule has been released. Congratulations to the Liberal Bee Jays and Derby Twins! Liberal will play on Friday, July 27 at 7pm against the Elite 316. Derby will play Friday, July 27 at 3:30 against the Northwest, AZ Boom. Good luck!

@AustinCrutcher Nothing is official until the NBC releases its schedule, but Hays as the league champion gets in. Dodge is 2nd and is in. Liberal/Derby are also very strong bets. Can’t say after that. Again, it’s the NBC schedule that makes it official, not this Tweet.
