There is a Japanese Legend that says:
"Whether it's a machine, a house, or a relationship. Maintenance is always cheaper than repairing." What you don't maintain, you eventually lose.
nobody talks about the angry stage of healing. the rage you feel when you realize how much and how long you were taken advantage of. the absolute disgust you feel towards those people that mislead you. it comes in waves. sometimes you'll feel healed and then it suddenly hits you.
there will always be another opportunity, another person, another relationship, another friendship. but there will never be another you. donโt trade your peace for temporary comfort, your values for acceptance or your self-worth for anyoneโs presence. no matter how beautiful something seems, nothing is worth abandoning yourself for.
Being part of a generation that was told โWikipedia is not a sourceโ makes it genuinely baffling to me that jobs are now telling people to just use ChatGPT for everything.
