BREAKING: The NBI has recommended the filing of criminal charges against Senators Joel Villanueva and Jinggoy Estrada, Rep. Zaldy Co, former DPWH Usec. Roberto Bernardo, former Rep. Mitch Cajayon-Uy, and former DPWH engineer Henry Alcantara in connection with the flood control corruption scandal.

Justice Secretary Boying Remulla said the recommendation follows a scathing affidavit from Alcantara, implicating the officials in alleged budget insertions and kickbacks.
