OFFICIAL STATEMENT: CALL FOR TRANSPARENCY REGARDING THE CANCELATION OF "THE FIRST LIGHT" IN MANILA

​To @BUS_SONRAY, @sonraymusic and @livenationph,

​We, BEUS Philippines, representing the Filipino fanbase of BUS (Because of You I Shine), are writing to formally express our deep disappointment and concern regarding the recent cancelation of the BUS THE 1ST ASIA FANCON TOUR: THE FIRST LIGHT in Manila.

​While we acknowledge the statement issued on May 1, 2026, we find the explanation of "circumstances beyond our control" to be insufficient. As a community that has dedicated months to organizing fan projects, mobilizing donations, and purchasing tickets, we believe we deserve a more transparent and detailed explanation regarding the specific reasons behind this sudden decision.

The lack of clarity has left the fanbase in a state of confusion and distress. Therefore, we stand firm in our request for the following:

1. A clear statement from SONRAY MUSIC and LIVE NATION regarding the administrative issues that led to the cancelation in Manila specifically.

​2. Recognition of the financial and emotional toll this has taken on fans who have already made non-refundable travel and accommodation arrangements.

3. A commitment to better communication and planning for future engagements involving BUS in the Philippines.

​Our support for the artists remains unwavering, but our trust in the organizing process requires transparency. We look forward to a more substantive response that addresses the core concerns of the Filipino BEUS community.
