Christian father, husband, small business owner, champion of liberty, and promoter of all things Georgian. I love God, my family, my country, and my dog.
@bluestein Mike, the definition of a career politician. Only served a term in Congress before starting to scheme to try and move on up, in your big wheeler, to a deluxe seat in the US Senate. That eighteen wheeler BS might go over OK in GA10, but soccer moms in Marietta don’t buy it.
Political debate is a hallmark of American democracy. Questioning and even criticizing our commander-in-chief is a great American pastime, regardless of our party or his. But political violence has no place in a civilized country and it must stop now!
While I strongly disagree with many of their political positions, I will forever defend their right to exercise their first amendment rights. Thankful for the quick actions of the Secret Service and other supportive law enforcement agencies.
@MurphyAJC Thankfully we have better and smarter people than both you and Jackson in this race. Jackson is going nowhere. I don’t think he will even make the runoff. He peaked the day he announced.
@claybwells10 Not upset about it. Always welcome the return of ⚾️. Who knows, DirecTV Stream might even allow me to watch it this year. But when you grew up in an era where opening day involved the home team and another divisional foe, it is still a little bizarre doing things differently.
@claybwells10 Reminds me of NASCAR races when “debris” mysteriously appears on the track in the final ten laps and the favorite just happens to be well in the back. Let’s clear the track and have a restart. 🏁
One of my biggest pet peeves is preseason football polls, especially these days. Teams have different coaches and different players. We don’t know anything about team chemistry or how hard they have worked relative to others teams.
These are some of the reasons I have grown to detest the Heisman. It places far too much value on self in a sport that is supposed to be all about team. The Heisman could still be a valuable thing to the sport of college football.
