The boda boda madness in Malava must stop.
This man died peacefully from illness. Family mourned. Friends cried. Neighbours contributed tea and sugar. Everything was proceeding according to the normal Kenyan funeral script.
Then somebody looked at the coffin and said:
"You know what? Let's put him on a motorcycle."
The deceased was loaded onto a boda boda like a sack of maize and off they went.
Unfortunately, the boda boda crashed.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is perhaps the first Kenyan to die, be embalmed, stored in a mortuary, and then get involved in a road accident afterwards.
The disease killed him.
The boda boda said, "My turn."
Even the ancestors must have been confused.
The man arrived in heaven and was asked:
"Cause of death?"
He replied, "Malaria."
Then an angel checked the file and said,
"Wait... what is this second report from Traffic Police?"
The angel called another angel.
"Come here. We have a special case.
The deceased died, then later became a road accident victim."
At this rate, some of these boda boda riders will soon be issuing posthumous injuries.
Please, for the love of common sense, stop carrying coffins on motorcycles.
The dead have already completed their journey on earth. They don't need to participate in one last road accident before burial.

Solidarity to the people of Bolivia who are rising up against their corrupt government.
