Hi all,
I’ve made the difficult decision to step down as the head lacrosse coach at Royal Oak Shrine.

I’ve enjoyed my time there and can’t thank the very supportive coaches, administration, parents, and players, enough!

Would it be crazy if no youth lacrosse players used long poles prior to middle school?

I feel like everyone should start off with a short stick for a few years.

Easier to get the basics, have fun, everyone plays O and D more like basketball.

@LaxLocy We won 5-4 in overtime. Big saves on both ends, back and forth action. Sophomore buries it to seal it.

Tonight’s game was probably the wildest I have coached, but I appreciate the effort the players played with while doing it down two players, it was a true gut check game. Good luck to Allen Park on the rest of the season!
