Most couples want better routines, more energy, and less decision fatigue.
But most health advice? It’s built for individuals—not partnerships.
Here’s what we’ve learned—and what we’re building.

The couples lifemaxxing stack:
- have more fun & less stress
- be biased to action
- move together everyday
- have a cheat day weekly where you don’t count macros
- play golf with your wife
- sleep 7 hours & get up at 5 am (let her sleep in)
- social media is for making content and not bingemaxxing to pass the time
- skip date night for an activity
Most high performers have optimized everything except this.
You can build a company, lead a team, and dial in every habit, and still be completely under-resourced inside your closest relationship. High agency in the boardroom does not automatically transfer to the kitchen table.

High-agency people still end up in low-agency relationships.
No one told them the same thinking that built their career would build their marriage.
Tomorrow we get into it.

You do not have to choose between becoming the person you want to be and loving your person well.
The goal is to replace, not remove.
Find the healthier version of what you used to do together. Go for the occasional ice cream. Say yes to the dinner they love. These are not compromises. They are investments in the "we."
Let them feel you still choose them, not just the version of them you are hoping they will become.
Your partner is not against you. They are just not where you are yet. The hardest part of changing your health is not the habits. It is watching your partner struggle to keep up.
Every relationship has seasons. Some you designed. While some arrived without warning. The couples who last are not the ones who avoid the hard seasons. They keep showing up and keep redesigning as they grow.
Question for this week: What is one thing you and your partner used to do together that you could redesign to fit who you are both becoming?

"What is in the micro is in the macro."
What you do at the small level builds everything above it. The habits, the defaults, the choices you make without thinking. They shape your marriage, your health, and your life over time.
The question is simple: did you choose them, or were they handed to you?

Our inherited defaults used to be a roadblock to our growth as a couple.
When we began applying these principles in our marriage, our health and relationship got better.
Most couples never question what they inherited:
• What their parents modeled
• What their families ate
• What their culture said about rest
• What the fitness industry decided they should look like
Start questioning. Start designing.
Here are 3 mental models we use daily in our marriage and business 👇
When you sit down with your partner and map the real obstacles, you stop blaming each other for outcomes that were structural from the start.
Why should building agency into your health and relationships be any different than what you've been building in your career?
