Excited to release my new iOS app, Funnel, to the App Store! 🚀

Funnel is the simplest way to capture your thoughts, and funnel them to into favorite apps like @obsdmd , @NotionHQ , @bearnotesapp, @NotePlanApp, @RoamResearch, @culturedcode and more!

The Composable Architecture has reached a major milestone: version 1.0. To celebrate this release we are doing a fresh tour of the library so that folks can become comfortable building applications with it in its most modern form.

I had a blast on @baswiftable. And now I have time to update some information about the tools I mentioned in my talk here: https://t.co/kNP1B0nq5B and there's already one contributor 🤟 [I didn't knew about that tool! I might use it!] #swiftable There's so much info out there 🧘‍♀️

I've steadily gathered more and more evidence that quality goes down as scale (of business, of software) goes up.

I've now got a healthy collection of quotes from respectable people.

Even if people perform at the average level (5), you must still give them (10) treatment.

these image synths are like instruments - it's amazing we'll get so many of them, each with a unique "sound" 🤯

We're taking this week off to record new episodes, but we have an interesting blog post to share, as well as a new release of the Composable Architecture!

To any Xcode engineers at #Apple, if you can see this Tweet, please please please talk to your product team to have a feature that can persist my last chosen Simulator. I don't want to start my app on a iPod Touch accidentally everyday 👿

[John Sundell @johnsundell]

This is an excellent post by @chriseidhof! 👏 I really recommend reading it if you work with SwiftUI. The "Demystify SwiftUI" WWDC session (https://t.co/GjWQBarTf9) also addresses why "if" modifiers typically break view identity, which is a topic that I'll write about soon too 👍

We just open sourced a new project: Custom Dump 🎉

Custom Dump is a collection of tools for debugging, diffing, and testing your app’s data structures.

It comes with a nicer replacement for XCTAssertEqual, and can be used to build powerful debug tools.

I love @pointfreeco Composable Architecture but I don't love debug reducer in bigger apps.

Here is my take on how this can work with some nice design benefits, this works really well in @browsercompany code-base and that's biggest TCA project I've seen

I recently had to convert a large enum to a struct for a client. It would have been a lot of manual labour but thx to SwiftSyntax I was able to automate parts of it. I was so happy with the results, that I wrote a small tool that works on any enum:

I can’t wait to finally share everything we have been working on with care and passion for the last year. I hope you’ll love all the features and improvements to SwiftUI.

I’ll be hanging out in the Digital Lounge and Labs ready to answer all your questions.

Happy #WWDC21 week!
