So @MURS and I wrote a book.
A few years back, we hit the road during a wild time. It was peak COVID. Murs hadn’t touched a stage in almost two years. I had just lost my dad. Somewhere along the way, we decided to document it — Murs with his words, me with my lens.
It’s astonishing to read the snarky comments of people who aren’t from Los Angeles or who have never lived in Los Angeles, lecturing those of us who grew up there about things like the height of our trees and the wind patterns. These west LA and Pasadena fires are not typical, and for some of us it’s hitting too close to home.
