Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway.
To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back.
Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.
Food for thought:
What other countries publicly execute people?
Are those the countries that we want to be in the company of?
The man should die for sure, but is there a benefit to allowing him to die as the martyr he wants to be?
There is no doubt Hassan deserves to die. His crimes were demonic and unforgivable—death by firing squad is borderline too merciful. But broadcasting his execution is beneath the dignity & decency of our nation.
Americans will use violence if and when justified, but we do not rejoice in it. Kill him swiftly & silently.
Streaming his execution is not just a stain on our morality—it also gives the terrorists free propaganda that they will use to radicalize & recruit more terrorists like Hassan.
.@jamestalarico: Ken Paxton has been dodging debates all year, and it's why today I'm challenging Ken Paxton to a debate on Fox News.
His handler in July said, 'Of course we're gonna debate,' and then they declined three different invitations from local Texas TV stations.
So let's go to Ken Paxton's safe space — let's do Bret Baier on Fox News. I'll go into the lion's den, because I know what I believe. I am proud of my record, and I'm not afraid of hard questions.
Ken Paxton is running from a fight, and that sounds like low-T behavior to me.
But in all seriousness, Texans deserve answers to their questions. So I'm challenging Ken Paxton to a debate on his home turf. He's been running from accountability his whole life, and it's time to stop running.
