JM Ibarra, Fyang Smith reunite in Regal Entertainment 's film ‘Almost Us’ set for May 6 release

Regal Entertainment has officially announced Almost Us as the title of the upcoming movie starring JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, marking another collaboration between the two young stars following their recent box-office and streaming successes.
Directed by Dan Villegas, Almost Us is scheduled for theatrical release on May 6. The film is co-produced by Regal Entertainment and Project 8 Projects, the award-winning production company led by Villegas and Tonette Jadaone, known for their string of critically acclaimed and commercially successful films.

Regal Entertainment also shared that the complete cast of Almost Us will be revealed soon.

The JM–Fyang pairing gained strong momentum after their appearance in the MMFF entry Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins, which emerged as the second highest-grossing film of the recently concluded festival. Their on-screen chemistry also resonated with viewers in the hit iWant series Ghosting.

With Almost Us, audiences can expect another story-driven film that brings together a proven creative team and a popular lead tandem, continuing Regal and Project 8’s track record of delivering compelling local cinema.
