@JaneOst_ This is the main problem with developing a vehicle using the same attitude you'd use to develop a trendy gadget. If you design a smartphone poorly, it's mildly annoying to use, holding it a certain way blocks the cell signal, etc. If you design a vehicle poorly people fucking die
@lbcoffe_y @transparencyboo I want sequels to be made when there is demand for them, and I want those sequels to reuse as many assets as possible so the developers can dedicate more time to refining what worked the first time around
@christweetsllc They should actually make tampons with ludicrous manly branding. Trans guys deserve the right to buy products labeled "Arctic Wolf" or whatever
@davenport_bee@transparencyboo Left 4 Dead 2 is the definitive version of Left 4 Dead. No need to buy two games to get all the content, and the engine is basically identical so it only took them a year to create. Less time wasted and less money spent
@lsditto @transparencyboo Nowadays it is. I don't like that framing, nor do I like the idea that a new game needs to be built 100% from scratch when the old one only has a few issues to address. They only started doing the "super deluxe season pass bonus edition" thing like 10 years ago and it sucks
The Tesla is actually so good at self-driving that the steering wheel is just for show; it doesn't do anything. It falls off when it feels the owner is Ready, like a butterfly shedding its chrysalis
@rmcconico@NIOAdmirer@FibonacciInves1@wholemars Teslas have smart cruise control and lane tracing, same as basically every other automobile manufacturer. My $20k Corolla drives itself too, they just don't brand it as "Autopilot" because that name is disingenuous and misleading
