“The Life of a Showgirl” in a conversation about albums where celebrities talk about "hating fame" when there are 0 such songs on that album.
Really shows how much people project ideas onto Taylor when even at the peak of Taylor's frustrations with fame, she didn't react to it as something she struggles with actively. She has more reacted and moved on.
Truthfully, that was the album we were expecting with Showgirl - a look at the troubling world she experienced behind the glamour of the Eras Tour. And that's not the album we got - the album is about all of the joy she experienced at that time, and some other light reflections on controversy that had nothing to do with hating fame (her masters, her coke-obsessed fan, her friend being CANCELLED).

it baffles me that you can be Assigned MAGA by Twitter and absolutely nothing, including multiple clear statements by her and her family, can convince anyone otherwise. meanwhile there’s genuine evil being elevated by actual MAGA supporters
‘you ai haters definitely secretly use generative ai behind closed doors!!!! >:(‘ girl i straight up panic whenever i accidentally hit the grok button, sit with that for a second😭😭
I’m one of the people that Joe frequently raids and I will always appreciate his willingness to lift up his friends. He treats his friends as equals in the room even if numbers don’t reflect that and he does what he can to try and make that happen.
hot take: they're both for the male gaze but they just treated yelena with more grace and by more grace i mean treated her like an actual character and not the female avenger
It’s not misogynistic to not like Taylor Swift’s music.
It IS misogynistic to feel the need to constantly announce that you don’t like Taylor Swift unprompted in order to monetize hatred towards her.
This should not be a difficult concept to grasp 💜
