Really shows how much people project ideas onto Taylor when even at the peak of Taylor's frustrations with fame, she didn't react to it as something she struggles with actively. She has more reacted and moved on.

Truthfully, that was the album we were expecting with Showgirl - a look at the troubling world she experienced behind the glamour of the Eras Tour. And that's not the album we got - the album is about all of the joy she experienced at that time, and some other light reflections on controversy that had nothing to do with hating fame (her masters, her coke-obsessed fan, her friend being CANCELLED).
