Athletic 5-11 170lb frame. Leg kick stride. Catches a loud barrel that gets ran down by the left fielder. Had a hustle double in the first.

Had a great time playing at the Virginia Commonwealth games. Team North took home the gold medals winning the championship game 7-2. I also want to thank Coach Colangelo and Coach Yount for the opportunity to play. Here are some barrels I caught through 4 games. @PBRVirginiaDC

[Jayme Newell @JaymeNewell]

Super proud of @DonovanNewell2 who worked incredibly hard this season. He maintained focus on his “Approach” at the plate and it paid off in BIG ways! As the lead-off hitter, he finished the season with a .444 batting average, 25 runs scored and 25 stolen bases. Unanimous coaches vote for 1st Team All-District and Lightridge H.S Team MVP award -not only for his noteworthy Statistics but his growth and maturity in Character (most important in this moms mind! ☺️💙).
