Erin Piacenti, 32, a Bank of America VP from New Jersey, was fatally stabbed Monday afternoon in Times Square.

The new mom was killed on her first day back from maternity leave. She had just returned to work after five months with her 5-month-old daughter.

Police shot and killed the attacker, Pamela Cisneros, 49, after she also wounded a 68-year-old man.

Piacenti’s family said she and her husband “were preparing to build a life together with their new daughter. That life changed incomprehensibly in an instant.”
