Make really good low budget horror movies.
Market them well.
Put them in theaters.
Take chances. New ideas. New filmmakers.
It has always been the way.
Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride.

Here's Steve Kerr when asked what the path moving forward is for the country...
"There should be an appeal to our better angels to look after one another and to recognize what's happening. We're being divided by media for profit, by misinformation. There's so much out there that is really difficult for all of us to reconcile.
In times like these, you have to lean on values and who you are and who you want to be -- either as an individual or as a country. And I think that's the biggest thing."
I truly implore folks not to argue with “people” on this app about important events.
You’re going to drown in a sea of bots, paid foreign accounts cosplaying as Americans, and truly the worst of our citizenry.
Talk to real human beings in real life.
You’ll feel better.

Ryan Coogler says he’s “happy Sinners found a home at Warner Bros.” and that the movie received a full theatrical release:
"I’m willing to bet on a good story. I truly believe that there isn’t any experience like a movie in a theater, you know what I’m saying? Especially at this time, when we’re disconnected from each other. I can get groceries delivered to my house. I can order food from my favorite restaurant to my house. I can buy clothes from my house. All of these experiences are things that we used to go out and do in public."
"But for me going to sit in a movie theater, the best thing for me is not being able to press pause or stop it. Because the first thing I do, especially when I’m watching something scary, or I’m watching something that’s too funny or too shocking, if I’m at home, I press pause and give myself a chance to catch up."

David Goggins unleashes the most brutal, soul-crushing, life-altering truth you'll ever hear
"Passion? Motivation? Discipline? All watered-down BULLSHIT words people hide behind.
I was 300 pounds. Illiterate. Hated looking in the mirror. There was NO magic moment. NO inspiration. NO 'aha' epiphany.
I just f.... DID IT. Every single day. No feeling. No fire. Just did.
Life is HELL for most of us. I hid for 24 years. Now I show the ugly, bloody, broken side—because that's what FORGES unbreakable humans.
How do you want to LIVE?
How do you want to DIE?
How do you want to be REMEMBERED?
That's it. That's f... it. No more excuses."

🚨NEW: Jon Stewart:
"I’ve got people in my family that are to the right of Attila the Hun. And when people tell me, like, 'How can you platform that person on your show?' I go, 'I platform my uncle every f*cking Thanksgiving.'"
"And by the way, I love him. He’s a three-dimensional human being who has qualities that I really admire — things about him."
"And we’ve lost that. We’ve lost the ability to love people because we litmus test at every point, in every single moment."

50 years ago—on June 28, 1975—Rod Serling dies.
"I just want them to remember me 100 years from now. I don’t care that they’re not able to quote a single line that I’ve written. But just that they can say, 'Oh, he was a writer.' That’s sufficiently an honored position for me.”
