There’s an oft-repeated spending scandal in Canadian politics that always serves as a reminder that taxpayers care about the dollars and cents, no matter how small.

Today, the Ford government revealed nearly $200,000 in taxpayer dollars were spent to acquire a $28.9 million plane for the Premier, that was subsequently sold amid scandal.

Questioning Premier Ford on his longstanding promise to be the most transparent & accountable government.
He insists they are, even after admitting he’s changing access laws in Ontario to hide his personal cell phone records.
The public deserves to know how Doug Ford and his government are making decisions.
Especially when those decisions consistently benefit the wealthy and well-connected.
“It’s gonna sound like sound like sour grapes, and I don’t really give a shit. I think the better team did not win this series. I think the Blue Jays are the better team.”
My editor realized that he's got access to TVO's CMS and nobody can stop him from writing about what he wants, so it's good for us that he's also very good on the Jays: https://t.co/tNR95zqHJW
We did it!
Weekend GO service is coming to Kitchener!
Thank you to everyone who submitted one of the over 10,000 emails we sent to Metrolinx and the Ford government asking to make this happen.
Let's keep pushing for two-way all day GO!
We're organizing against Bill 5 in every part of Ontario.
Whether it's calling your MPP, writing a letter, talking with a friend, we can all play a part in getting the Ford government to kill Bill 5!
If you want a place to start head to: https://t.co/cn5VYxPeUC
Doug Ford ignored repeated calls from all opposition parties, as well as legal experts and Indigenous leaders, to kill Bill 5 and rework it in meaningful partnership with the very communities whose lands and futures are at stake.
Instead, Ford rammed it through the legislature. And the inevitable lawsuits are being filed.
I'm calling on Ford to kill Bill 5, commit to genuine consultation, and work with First Nations on economic development that respects land, water, animals and Indigenous rights.
We’ve started our summer of organizing against Bill 5!
People power stopped the Greenbelt from being paved over and people power will kill Bill 5.
We’re having events all summer across Ontario. Keep an eye out for one near you.
In typical Doug Ford gov't fashion, there's big changes being proposed on the Friday before a long weekend. Once again, these changes implicate conservation authorities. And once again, there are few details in the release about what these changes are.
