@evernote I've been with you since 2014, Plus member since 2016, endured the price hike from $35/yr to $50/yr in '23, and $50 to $100 in '24. Now it's $150/yr?! That breaks me.
A 328% price increase in 3 years is unconscionable.
@PhillyMichael1@mitchellvii They had the lawsuits ready, but the courts wouldn't take the cases unless it passed (time wasted if the bill failed, right?) That's why it has to be filed post-results.
@ChefChrisYoung I'll just say I'm glad my kids weren't downstairs when I got to taste the results, given the profanity that uncontrollably escaped my mouth with immediacy. I have to thank @TEAMCHINA for introducing me to your content.
@ChefChrisYoung Chef, I have a question related to your latest Michelin stock video. How did you deal with the existential crisis of realizing how many hours were effectively wasted standing over a stock pot, guarding from boils, just to have made stock this good, this easy?
@KevOnStage In my experience, it's blood work and questions.
Also prostate cancer is a mf. The treatment has an outsized risk of impotence, so let them poke the balloon knot if they say the need to.
@jamesbvalentine Hey brother, wife and I just saw you at the Rady Shell and loved the show. Our anniversary starts in 80 minutes. Any chance you could let her know I wanna make her feel beautiful?
@itsme_urstruly Sacrifice some monthly frivolities to get a housekeeper. So many fights (which often seed thoughts of resentment or worse) are started over disparity, real or not, in household upkeep/chores.
@itsme_urstruly Instant Ramen. When I was first out of college, I learned to make really good ramen broth. I still make it to this day. I can feed my family of 4 for less than $2 (give or take the price of eggs). Economically, I'm in the top 5%. I could be top 1% and I'll still make cheap ramen.
@itsme_urstruly@dreamtheaternet 'Scenes from a Memory' may be the absolute pinnacle of storytelling as an album. You can't skip tracks (not that a listener ever would)
@avverage_Al@HumansNoContext You swap consciences with the person you're controlling and you can never swap into the same person twice, including your original body
@BrewerMBG @HumansNoContext Each time you shift, you slowly start to forget your original form, eventually being forced to remain in your final form in perpetuity, having no recollection of who/what you originally were.
@tracybeanz I'm a software designer and I've used a nearly identical question for interviewing candidates (nuance and detail are important with design specs) and rarely can adults do this correctly. Love that it's being used to help kids!
It's a testament to the intrigue of @MrBeast's content that my father-in-law, who is in home hospice care, is choosing to spend his limited remaining time watching his videos. Well done, Jimmy.
@itsme_urstruly@IFLScience should be about interesting scientific facts and cool new discoveries... not politics. Even if/when it's politics with which I agree.
