Trying to make a #Gladiator2 for a long while and this was the first viable script they got and just went for it. It has style and guts in moments but unlike the first movie it has no soul. It shall be Russel Crowes gladiator that echoes into eternity. JPR ⭐️⭐️

Complement the epic action. The best bits of the movie other than the action is the homages to the first movie. The problem with this movie is that Maximus is dead and we cant route for him anymore. Or even his mates like Juba who we also routed for...It seems to me they have....

Fantastic set piece action scenes and Scott has taken advantage of the better CGI available to him 24 years on from the first. Some fantastic moments in this film. The gore of the colosseum is on full rhino riding show again but there is no Richard Harris or Oliver reed...
