@RolandZenbeats Cool to see Roland going all-in on SC! I’d love to have the same feature in the MC&MV hardware. Or at least be able to record in multi-track on Zenbeats with my iPad/iPhone and do the mixing from there. Right now it’s either via the computer+driver or by recording track by track.

By sequence export I mean on the TR of course, that would let SP/MV/MC or other sampler/DAW users to import these as loops clips their projects.

Tested the Roland TR-6S/8S v1.5/2.5 fw updates with new FM drums, random presets/sounds, FX & step probability🥰

Now please @RolandGlobal :
- sequence export as wav loops would make SP/MV/MC users happy🤩
- we're in 2022, these devices should be USB Audio/MIDI Class Compliant🙏🏻

@FunkyStickman @BoBeatsMusic @BernardMalldini @RolandGlobal My guess is it’s because the placement of the vocal takes is based on the existing track structure. But considering the MV-1 has a sampling feature, they could at least allow the ability to record (vocal) samples/loops going through the vocal processor and assign them to pads.

@so_la_c_doe @BoBeatsMusic @RolandGlobal Yes you can now connect an external keyboard and play polyphonically within two octaves (I guess the octave limitation is due to single-sampling and the resulting aliasing).

@BoBeatsMusic @BernardMalldini @RolandGlobal Well, even the DirtyWave M8 does it while running on a Teensy board😜 with less of polyphony I admit😇 Would accept even a multi-pass export even if it took 20 minutes. At least wouldn’t need to mute/unmute each track to get there. Btw Roland doesn’t do it on their MC/SP either😌

-you need to build track structure to access the vocal part🤦🏻‍♂️
-how can they not provide separate stems export on such device? still can record separate tracks with driver but not on the go with iOS😌
-lacks side-chaining too, even the T-8 has it!

@Algoriddim Phase USB mode, Pioneer Rev1, Rev7 with the scratch tracking feature and the S lineup mixers, including the new S5. I wouldn’t be against official support of Akai AMX, for now I’m using my own mapping.

Nailed it on last update adding Siri & Dolby Atmos support.

Still some bugs on CarPlay (playlists not showing up etc...).

Please work with @Serato, @NI_News & @PioneerDJglobal for video mixing integration.

@9to5mac Just being able to add tracks on the iOS stock Music app library from my Files structure would already be great !

Wouldn’t be against some advanced external monitor support (more resolutions, drag/resize multiple apps in a free workspace).

@doppi_app Hi I know, it’s why I bought it. But as the app goes to “maintenance mode”, dev being hired by Apple, I suggest Apple adds this feature to its Music app. It’s crazy in 2022 we can’t add a track from our Files structure to the iOS/iPadOS’ stock Music library app. Isn’t it ?

As you won't be able to continue the development, please consider either :
- open-sourcing your app
or
- telling Apple to allow us to add tracks to the Apple Music Library from the file system on iOS/iPadOS.
