It's finally time for me to say my final goodbyes. I love the language community here on Twitter, but it just isn't worth staying here for me. I am so appreciative of all of your support and I hope you can follow me elsewhere, but it's okay if not. I wish you guys the best!๐
@lindiebee Yeah, I never liked Twitter much, and I've decided that staying on the platform would be a direct indication for others that I support what Twitter stands for under new mgmt, but I don't. So, I'm ready to go to the other places I have an account again.
alphabet sketchbook thread! this is a tiny old address book i bought at a flea market many years ago. i drew/collaged something on each page that started with the letter on the tab. i'm just putting them all in a thread together here! ๐โจ
But here's my Tumblr link in case you'd like to be involved! I haven't posted anything on there about this yet, but just thought I'd let you all know.

One of the things that has become more and more important to me as I get older is my heritage language.
Not only to hopefully go to the countries my family comes from, but also because I want to share the culture that comes from it with others, and also learn from it.
Now this is mostly going to happen on Tumblr since I'm not a fan of Twitter, especially as hatred is more loosely allowed and I'd rather not deal with annoyances when I talk about my culture, but I will occasionally post here as I know it is more accessible.
Saw a tweet about a 10 yr old learning Korean for a new classmate, someone said it had to be fake, and now I'm feeling like it's kinda sad that ppl don't expect kids to care enough/be smart enough to learn a language bc I was that 10 yr old once upon a time
I love my major. Today on my homework assignments, I have to read and annotate an article about applying the things we learn about culture and society in our professional and everyday lives. It's so cool.
@LanguageComeUp Sigh, I've wanted to learn Ukrainian for a while, before the recent events, but I've been focusing on other target languages. Maybe someday soon though!
@mickeyB121 @kathyhass Somehow, I knew this had to be more common in Florida. I have had similar experiences in the public school system and almost had to file a lawsuit. The ADA holds more power these little school administrators ever will, and I hope someone does something about it one day.
