The Somerset Farmhouse of 1 North Street, Williton were approached by a "food influencer" that wanted to charge them £2,000 for a review.
They put out a video of Sally eating a sausage roll instead 😆.
Lets make Sally and the Somerset Farmhouse famous for free.
@PaulEmbery@cthulhupotamus The ‘stirring up tensions’ line is interesting - theres some intra-ethnic stuff and quite a lot of white identity stuff, but primary ‘tension’ is with the police and the establishment, a bit of sleight of hand to imply it’s between the population rather than anti-establishment.
@post_liberal This just approaches the ‘politicisation of the police’ argument from another direction. Why is there so much churn, why are there no experienced police officers available? Part of the answer is the lack of support from seniors to front line police, training emphasis, etc.
@Danjsalt Nelson is really wedded to his viewpoint. This is a huge issue about policing in Britain today and he’s determined to make it about Sikhs, whether the knife used was a ‘kirpan’ or not and historical contributions in times of war, all distractions from the core issue.
@Ziggy_Zwela@Nangela72@TheFamousArtBR That's not a fact, even if you keep repeating it. And the fact that you've now introduced 'largely' shows that really, despite the axe your grinding, you know that.
@Ziggy_Zwela@Nangela72@TheFamousArtBR Well, it's not, because an English Parliament would be one that conducted its affairs solely for England and was comprised of English MPs only, but if it works for you to think of it like that you crack on.
@Ziggy_Zwela@Nangela72@TheFamousArtBR Because England doesn't have it's own Parliament, unlike Scotland for example, there is no body that makes laws only for England comprised only of English MPs. It's known as the West Lothian question and it's pretty famous.
@davidyelland She’s not spreading hate. She’s expressing concerns. You may feel her fears are misplaced, and so could provide facts, evidence or reasons to help alleviate those fears. You could acknowledge the risks and point to mitigations. Or, you could just virtue signal for status.
@DanielJHannan I broadly agree with the point, but I didn’t have to scour it, and I was exposed to inappropriate reactions on the tv, radio and at work. So I’m not that keen to assume I’m the problem, or that convinced that they are that atypical.
@TSHamiltonAstro@JonahDispatch Which is why I accept the general point, but I also don’t see how you move beyond the effective disenfranchisement of majority opinion without some kind of ‘populist’ uprising. Almost no western governing party seems to actually want to enforce border policy.
