Today I celebrate my 79th birthday, but in my heart I feel 59!
I am grateful to God, family, Guruji, friends, teachers, colleagues, students, and everyone who has been part of my journey.
As I look back, I realize that the greatest gift in life is not wealth or position—it is knowledge, health, relationships, and the opportunity to serve others.
This year, I am working harder than ever, dedicating my time to reading, writing, teaching, mentoring, and contributing to humanity. I have completed 10 books and have set a goal to write one book every month, aiming to leave behind more than 25 books so future generations can benefit from the lessons I have learned over the past 70 years.
My journey from a small village to a life of learning, teaching, and service has taught me one simple truth:
Never stop learning. Never stop helping others. Never stop believing that one person can make a positive difference.
Thank you for your friendship, encouragement, and support throughout my life.
May we all continue to learn, grow, serve, and make this world a little better every day.
With gratitude,
Jay P. Patel

Repetitive and rule-based work stands at the forefront of automation potential. Data entry, basic bookkeeping, routine quality inspections, and standardized customer service inquiries are already being automated at scale. These tasks follow predictable patterns that AI can learn and execute with high accuracy.
High-cost positions with standardizable components are indeed prime targets. For instance, junior legal research, basic financial analysis, and preliminary medical imaging reviews can be partially automated, allowing senior professionals to focus on complex decision-making. This doesn't eliminate these roles but transforms them significantly.
Most automation will be partial rather than complete. A radiologist won't be replaced but will use AI to pre-screen images, catching potential issues faster. An accountant will let AI handle routine reconciliations while focusing on strategic financial planning. This augmentation model means the 40% figure might represent tasks automated within jobs, not entire jobs eliminate. It will take long time and will vary by processes and geography.
