~3.5 years ago, I had a grim prognosis. During treatment, I lost feeling in my lower legs/feet and hands. I could barely walk. The past 10 days we toured Ireland and Scotland. I walked an average of 9 miles per day with stairs and crazy hills. I'm still here. #remission#fcancer
Thank you #Limerick. It's been a wonderful visit. Highly recommend Pat O'Conner for taxi/chauffer services. [Probably avoid @TheSavoyHotel if you want the room you booked. More on that to come]. Tomorrow Edinburgh, then home, then Las Vegas, New Orleans, and...? Any suggestions?
Been a minute but we've been busy living and loving and laughing our way around the world. So many tales to tell (stay tuned). Southern Ireland has been interesting and amazing. Edinburgh, we will see you soon.
Babe (looking at my Twitter feed): "You don't want to see my Twitter feed, it's full of perverts and raunchiness."
Me: "Mine, too. But most call it politics."
@cvspharmacy Why do you take it seriously now, but not when I was in the parking lot, exhausted and crying at your CSRs telling me to get a prior auth from an emergency hospital visit.
You know E.R. doctors don't give prior auths, yet require it even for EMERGENCY care?
Change is coming.
He has been in the hospital for a week, with 3 days in ICU after coding.
While dealing with all that comes with that, insurance expected me to find someone on a Saturday to fill out a form saying why it was prescribed so a non doctor could decide if he needed the Rx.
One example was for my spouse care. He was released from the hospital on a Saturday and prescribed medication we were told he MUST take on a specific schedule. Literally, Life or death.
Ins denied the Rx requiring prior auth ON A WEEKEND.
I paid $800 for Rx so he wouldn't die.
@cvspharmacy Y'all already told me multiple times that you can't (ie won't) help me and that zero people with your company have the authority to help me. That leaves no choice but to get help from judges, juries, media and legislatures.
You probably should have just helped me.
