🐈‍⬛: before starting the concert tour in Latin America to meet you all, i really focused on studying the culture of each country.
🐈‍⬛: but since my Spanish teacher is Mexican, honestly, i ended up studying a lot about Mexico specifically.
🐈‍⬛: and at one point, i realized that K-pop fans in Mexico make a lot of mariachi-style remixes whenever a new song comes out and upload them online.
🐈‍⬛: then i started thinking, “why don’t we just make an official one?”
🐈‍⬛: and that’s how this song was born! i hope you’ll give this comeback lots and lots of love

💬: Before you thought of the Mariachi version, did you have any other remix directions in mind?? I’m really curious about the behind-the-scenes.

🐈‍⬛: I immediately gave up on rock metal because, just looking at it, I felt like it would be hard to achieve good quality
🐈‍⬛: When I tried benchmarking Sunghoon’s remix, I thought, ‘Ah, even if we don’t need all of that, the purity is what matters.
🐈‍⬛: So I went with the feeling of, ‘If we’re gonna do it, let’s go harder than anyone else.
🐈‍⬛: I imagined and thought through two different roadmaps.
🐈‍⬛: The first was to go with an exotic genre I’d never tried before and really preserve its purity
🐈‍⬛: The second was to make a song that would leave Korean ENGENEs completely shocked at first, but somehow keep coming back to their minds until they gradually got hooked on it
🐈‍⬛: Just seeing how shocked the Korean ENGENEs were, I think I had more than enough fun with this oneㅋㅋㅋㅋ
