@trevorstweetss Thankful for the chip. Also thankful I don’t have to watch a robin think he’s Batman anymore. No one that good should have pathetic tunnel vision with the ball.
I still see 50+ wins this next season. A lot riding on health (and that can be said about any team) but PG and Mitch will look like all stars next to Tatum playmaking.
Happy with the return but annoyed it had to be a rival. With all the great moments Jaylen had (nothing is taking away 24 chip) he was incredibly frustrating at times on offense and defense. The worst tunnel vision you’ll ever see with the ball and then losing assignments on d.
We will see what next season holds but this is without question a move with Tatums next costar in mind. Post George, there’s a ton of cap space coming in right when he’s back to top form. Retool will be fast and Cs will without question be back in the finals before the new decade
Love JB but idk how the news wouldn’t completely sour his relationship with management. Would be great to still build with the Jays, but I feel like you can’t just run it back with same roster now and expect him not to push for a diff team. Either significant help, or he’s moved.
JB had a fantastic season. Going into the playoffs hobbled definitely showed. Still nothing but love and belief for the Jays. Adversity their whole careers and will be back to the top of the mountain soon. Different when you’ve already tasted that air. A full offseason to reload
Would’ve been cool to push this gap year as far as it could go. JTs incredible recovery and quick return to top 5 is great news for 26-27. Not taking care of business led to the best player having to rest G7. Only championships banners get raised but was a fun team to watch fight
