The choir will enjoy a guided tour of the WW1 museum and monument tomorrow, April 19th. They will conclude the tour with a performance on the skyway above the poppy field. The bus leaves PHS at 8:30 am and returns at 3:15 pm
Tomorrow is the KC Symphony dress rehearsal at the Kauffman Center. The bus will leave at 8:30 and return by 3:15. Remember to bring money for food at the KC River Market area after the rehearsal which begins at 10 am and concludes at 12:30 pm.
Congratulations to Max Mann, Danielle Altschul, Amanda Burris, Raven Duncan, Raegan Grass, Merynda Schussler, and Jaquelyn Thoman on the ratings of Outstanding for their solo and small ensemble performances at District Music Festival on 3/29/19.
Participants for Districts are Max Mann, Merynda Schussler, Raven Duncan, Jaquelyn Thoman, Danielle Altschul, Raegan Grass, Amanda Burris, and accompanist-Jayme Nixon. Any student earning a "Gold" rating will qualify for State!
The band had an excellent rehearsal with John Bell-Director of Bands at NWMSU on March 11th. After rehearsal, he was very complimentary of our fine musicians and their excellent teamwork!
The sixth grade band has three practice cards remaining this quarter. Each of these will be counted as extra credit only, for a total of 30 extra credit points for 2nd quarter. Nearly all practice for each day is accomplished during class.
Our PHS choir will perform on the High School Winter Music Concert. The concert is on December 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Plattsburg Performing Arts Center.
