As ever, Twatman Dave is using bad faith data.
Let's have a look at Kobbie's international career.
14 games. 7 of them friendlies.
Of the 7 competitive games, he started 4.
Of those 4, England won 1 in extra time, against Slovakia, and 1 on penalties, against Switzerland. He was taken off in normal time in both.
They were losing to Slovakia when he got taken off.
They were losing to Switzerland when he got taken off.
They lost 1.
And won 1.
So, they've won 1 competitive game he started while he's been on the pitch.
"Just saying"
What a twat.
Enough is enough. We’ve reached a point where it feels like anything people say about Argentina will go viral. No one can convince me that everything I’m seeing isn’t driven, at least in part, by chasing engagement.
It’s somehow Argentina’s fault that a clear penalty wasn’t given to them tonight, but no one wants to talk about that because it doesn’t generate interactions.
It’s Argentina’s fault that Portugal didn’t finish top of their group, and that neither Uruguay nor Spain managed to beat Cape Verde.
It’s Argentina’s fault that people keep spamming Messi’s out-of-context tackle against Algeria, while much harsher challenges have gone unpunished throughout this World Cup.
It’s Argentina’s fault that a Cape Verde player dove when Paredes didn’t even touch him, but that doesn’t fit the narrative people want.
We’ve seen terrible VAR decisions and far more controversial incidents throughout this World Cup, yet they barely get any attention because they don’t involve Argentina.
Everything is Argentina’s fault. I've never seen anything like this.
Goes without saying but once again Pico Lopes was just immense. Some crucial blocks up against the might of Argentina. What a World Cup journey. At 34 the absolute peak of his career. Life will never be the same again. Crumlin has a new hero. Ireland has a new hero. Magic.
You have to be a special kind of stupid to post stuff like this
1: Argentina won their group. Portugal couldn’t beat Dr Congo, finished 2nd
2: Cape Verde are unbeaten, drew with Spain.
3: Portugal played their first knockout game, this is Argentina’s first knockout game
@k4comps@Jack_Moore7 Consisting of a goal in community shield, 2 against our B team and 9 farming in the conference league. He also has 1 assist all season.
🚨✅ 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢: According to @BILD, It should not come as a surprise if Liverpool replace Wataru Endo with his compatriot Kaishū Sano (25) from Mainz 05. The German club want around €51M for the midfielder and their Sporting Director claiming they’ll consider offers for him.
