Mary Alice Love was killed by Mundelein police officer Christopher Brigano on May 11 while experiencing a mental health crisis in the backyard her family home. Her family called a non-emergency line seeking mental health services.

Upon arriving, police physically restrained Love’s mother, which prompted Mary to attempt to enter the back door, and Brigano shot her several times.

The family is continuing to protest and demand justice and transparency from local authorities.
