We are saddened to learn of the passing of John Tague, a former Port Authority/PRT Board member, disability rights advocate, public transit supporter, and friend.
For decades, John dedicated his life to helping others, working tirelessly to improve accessibility and expand opportunities for people with disabilities throughout our region. His compassion, advocacy, and commitment to public service made a lasting impact on countless lives.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with John and extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy will not be forgotten.
Wait, so politicians CAN buy their own tickets to sports games? We thought, according to the laws of physics, they could only go if it’s paid for by corporate lobbyists calling themselves something really stupid and uncreative like “Team Pennsylvania”

@GreenWayForward We have to build our political infrastructure first. If Greens in the UK were like Greens in the US nobody would ever hear about Zack Polanski. We’ve got to lock in first to get one of our own.
@JustinInBmore@plantbasedagony Yeah try to propose that! Being able to a grab a bite or a brew post meeting is essential party building. Maybe a picnic?
@JustinInBmore@plantbasedagony My local party is definitely much more into going to post meeting drinks than post meeting weed. Justin do you go to in person Green Party postmeetings?
my hottest take re: CA DSA is a lot of you don't know anything about what happens in other chapters and instead of approaching with curiosity and intrigue about their project, you whack them over the head in the most obnoxious, debate bro-y way possible
@KaraNextWeek If there were to be a “Philly hidden gem” in King of Prussia, what would it be? I’ll be there next weekend for an ultimate frisbee tournament.
