@BBCSteveR Whatever you’re up to I just hope that you have a fabulous time and manage to climb down from that tightrope that you so brilliantly balance on every day at work.
@TheRealJamieKay Ranked from “best“ down to absolute disaster
2, 8,
(It’s quite incredible how fast they drop after these two)
1, 4, 7, 3, 6, 5 This final six is a real pile-up of criminal, insane, cowardly, lying, treacherous, cheating no-hopers who bought disgrace and ignominy to the U.K.
@Simon4NDorset I’m a Dorset-born lad and you couldn’t be more wrong. The theatre was named after the road it stands upon, Shaftesbury Avenue and not the town.
It was originally the New Prince’s Theatre when it opened in 1911. and it was renamed in 1963.

@UKBackintheDay2 Fantastic song and Sam kicks the guts right out of it. Such a strong, clean voice.
Her strongest ever song was “The great gig in the sky” on the Pink Floyd live album “Pulse” together with Durga McBroom and Claudia Fontaine. Saw her do this live. Incredible!
@JamesAHogg2 Brings back warm memories. Back home, after school with this on TV. The puppets like Merlin (in this example) with just the fluffy hair and a nose were genius.
Also, loved the flea circus and other sketches with the appearing footprints.
Bentine was a genius and so good for kids
@Mike_Batt I have to confess that I don’t know the works of Walter Piston, but I did meet Leonard Bernstein and sit next to him for a whole evening. So, I think that for now that balances things out.
[Exits in the direction of Apple Music murmuring “Walter Piston, Walter Piston…”]
@East_Cheam_Lad That’s gonna be a good thing to watch.
It’s hard to beat “The Last of the McHancocks” or “The Unexploded Bomb” (‘Press the plunger, Plunger.)
@AlexTaylorNews The guy casually going back and forth with his paperback novel and towel must be looking forward to a nice quiet shower whilst she’s outside avoiding the men in white coats with the big net.
@BBCSteveR@RTS_media Dear Steve, Many congratulations on receiving such a prestigious award. There are times when I sit on my sofa watching one of your reports, wringing my hands and praying that you keep safe.
Please keep up the brilliant work with your excellent team in Moscow.
Piano’s good too!
