Celebrated the birthday of a good friend of mine tonight. He told me how proud & incredible it’s been to watch where I was 5 years ago to now, but that’s not the part that got me.
For people like me, it’s hard to acknowledge accomplishments because you always yearn for “more or better.” But sometimes you have to sit back and think. “Holy shit, yeah I did that.”
Restructuring the athlete contract is something that’s helped a ton lately. There is no question about expectations & deliverables which allowed me to hold them accountable. It’s also showed me who is bought all the way in. The ones who are all in stay, let go of the rest.
