When I first started streaming, my dad was always the one who always told me to be cautious;

He always told me to stay in school, not put all my eggs in one basket, and prepare for the eventuality that streaming doesn’t work out.

When I started going full time with it we’d have weekly conversations about re-enrolling into my program because he wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do it for the rest of my life.

Nowadays, he’s my number one fan.

He watches all my clips, created an Instagram account just to see all my reels, and constantly asks me how things are going with the other creators I’ve befriended and do content with;

He even asked me today to start sending him little daily updates on how we’re doing in the tournament so he can know what’s happening ahead of time from the YouTube videos that get released.

All this just to say that sometimes in life, the most unconditional support comes from the most unexpected places.
