Hi, for those who don’t know me — I’m Jay 🇻🇳, BDM at @CaliberBuild.

The last time I posted on X was back when I was still doing marketing in Web3 👀

For 4 years, I lived and breathed marketing: writing content, running socials, managing PR. It was fun, but deep down I felt like I was ready for a new challenge. I wanted to get closer to where decisions were made, to where real partnerships and value were built.

So last year, I made the switch into BD. My first stop was a short stint at an AI/Web3 startup. Then came the turning point: I was introduced to Caliber by @Hugo05558945 (BDM at @KyberNetwork). After one conversation, I knew this was where I wanted to grow, so I applied.

Fast forward, it’s now been over a year at @Caliber, a venture builder founded by @loi_luu - someone I’ve admired for years and once only dreamed of working with.

Over this time, I’ve worked closely with my manager @kentrance_, collaborated with amazing partners, closed real deals, and, most importantly, gained a deeper perspective on what it truly means to create value in Web3.

So I figured it’s time to say hi again 👋 and start sharing some of my learnings and fails from building in this space.

Everything I share will come from first-hand experience across projects, campaigns, events, and all things BD/Marketing I’ve been part of.
