Note to high major D1 basketball, Auburn is going to be a problem barring injury. Also, note to all of college basketball, the entire state of Alabama seems to be really good at basketball this season.
In the last three years as a HS Athletic Director, I fielded over 100 emails, texts, and calls attempting to explain why a coach was directly responsible for a loss one of our teams suffered.
In that same time, I didn’t take a SINGLE call, text, or email telling me a coach was the reason we won a single game.
We played for, and/or won, 10 state championships in 2 seasons.

"The media's gonna criticize us. It'll be over in 24 hours. All that stuff is vapor. What people are gonna say about us on Twitter is vapor."
Focus on the work, not the criticism or the praise. It's vapor.
"We're more concerned with just doing our best."
"That's not gonna affect our behaviors. We're gonna go out and be unafraid. We're gonna be aggressive. We're gonna let it rip - and trust that the results are gonna be there."
Focus on doing the work and giving your best.
Trust the process and let it rip.
The real enemy of your performance is being too afraid to fail.
