Heavy rainfall late last week in central #Iowa was the 1,000-year event for the highest amounts. That means in any year, there is a 0.1% chance of those rainfall amounts occurring. Does not mean they occur every 1,000 years. It describes the event's significance. #iawx

@KelleyBydlon I see you have Cam in winner without Scottie. Why not parlay Scottie to win with Cam T5 instead? 18/1 vs 10/1β¦.and Cam doesnβt need to get 2nd to Scottie in that scenario?
John Calipari goes OFF for nearly SEVEN MINUTES about current state of college athletics & the Trentyn Flowers story in CBB. I haven't seen him this fired up in a press conference...ever?
Tom Izzo on James Nnaji enrolling at Baylor:
"I'm a little surprised. I've got a call in to Scott (Drew). I'm anxious to see what he tells me. If we're dipping into guys who were drafted to the NBA... shame on the NCAA. And shame on the coaches, too" π³
University of Nevada Head Basketball Coach Steve Alford rightfully went off on the current state of NCAA hoops, the Portal, and NIL earlier this year:
β"I've never been one to say athletes shouldn't be paid. But the way it is now is ridiculous"
Cyclones go 2-0 in Players Era with a great win over St. Johnβs. But miss the champ game. Miss 3rd place game. Donβt get to play for any more NIL $. And have 12 hours to get ready for 0-2 Syracuse. Fire this format to Pluto.
The change that The Players Era event needs to make immediately is to get rid of this point differential system and go to brackets.
Especially after seeing todayβs schedule.
Too many games that donβt make any sense like Iowa State (2-0) playing Syracuse (0-2) this morning.
Thatβs the dumbest thing about this. I donβt want to have to do long division to figure out what seed an undefeated team gets in a βtournamentβ.
This is college basketball. Give us a bracket.
Giant hole in the fake injury rule. Iowa State hits 4th and 7 pass in Cincinnati territory with 9:39 left down 9. Ball is spotted. Iowa State receiver is laid out, obviously in pain. Iowa State is automatically charged a timeout, well, because. What possible motivation would ISU have to fake an injury? Rather it would be motivated to go tempo.
We all need people in our lives like the kid not wearing a shirt. Pure happiness for his friend. I see this video once in a while and always watch it at least twice.
