I definitely think this season is more about evaluating and developing the roster. Next year is when things get serious, with the Jazz having additional cap space thanks to the team options built into several contracts, giving them more flexibility to strengthen the team.

Don't kill me, but I think now is the perfect time for the Jazz to move Brice Sensabaugh. There are simply too many guards on the roster, and the team could really use some additional frontcourt depth.

@2cammac2 The deal has been announced, but it isn't official yet. Both teams have had time to reassess their roster and cap situations, and expanding the trade could help address needs that weren't initially part of the framework.

The Walker Kessler sign-and-trade may not be done yet. Wouldn't be surprised if the Jazz expand the deal, move some wing pieces around, and add another big to better balance the roster. Let's see how it unfolds.

@McCadeP8 The Jazz absolutely have a reason to get it done! Additional assets and greater roster flexibility once Walker is officially off the roster. If it is taking longer, I would guess they are still trying to optimize the final package.
