@bobpockrass It appears the other teams were the silent majority or ‘hand in the glove’ in the process. As the truckers used to say years ago on CB, 23/11 and FRM were the front door of the caravan, the rest were in the rocking chair. I am glad it worked out for all teams.

I believe the building was built and owned by Jordon and Hamlin. Somewhere in all of the docs this is revealed and Jordon loaned Hamlin the $$$ to invest in the building. This isn’t unusual. Many businesses rent their building owned by the business founder or family. It’s a estate strategy I suppose.

Property taxes are levied at state level. The US Govt has zero input on state property taxes. POTUS may support no property taxes but can’t issue an executive order to ban property taxes. States like FL are working to eliminate property taxes which will save big dollars for the expensive properties along the Gold Coast. The legislature in Georgia is working on eliminating state income taxes.

In my not so humble opinion, this championship process across all series smacks of the wild card process in other sports. A sub par team wins a couple of games in a wild card series placing them in the playoffs. They are competing with teams that actually earned their way there. It’s all about increasing viewers thus increased ad revenue.
