@DamnItdale88 No, but not in the reason you think. I was 17 when Earnhardt died, my dad said I grew up watching the best Dale Earnhardt. That was my hero. Kyle Busch loss hurts cause I have a friend who felt that way about him, and I know how it feels, I’m just glad he didn’t see it happen.
@Nextel_Cup DEI ran a few races like 1 or 2 with Robby Gordon. Steve Park didn’t make his actual first Cup start until 1997 at Watkins Glen in a Burger King sponsored car.
@John_Henry_NC@ArchivesDe With the way DEI was evolving at the time, I think 01 or 02 would’ve been his last year. DEI was on the brink of being competitive to Hendrick. They were getting very close.
@SunderlandMason@AlextheAdm1ral I’m not arguing against biffle, I think he has the credentials, but so does jeff Burton as he brought in some safety things as well. But my question was, why does one get in and the other doesn’t?
@AlextheAdm1ral And that’s a valid argument, it’s not always what’s done on the track but what you do for the sport in itself. But that also validates why Dale Jr is in for those that argue he shouldn’t be.
@AlextheAdm1ral Let’s take it another level as well, Greg biffle and Austin Dillon. Both have the same championships, biffle more wins, but 19 in cup and no Daytona 500. We’re really just playing with numbers, but just putting it out there.
@Fisherjw95@DirtyMoMedia@TravisRockhold His two Busch series championships were probably the most stacked Busch series fields without cup drivers running full time. And he even beat the cup drivers when they ran, he beat Jeff Gordon straight up in California. Bunch of unheard ofs, wtf you smoking.
