Strongly oppose creating a charter school in Schenectady. Any charter school will divert resources and distract from the mission of a fair and equitable public education for all. Our focus should be on ensuring @SCSchools has the resources they need for every student to succeed.

Today we tearfully say goodbye to over 80 of our colleagues and friends. Today will be hard. This loss is unfair and unjust. APSTA will keep fighting for funding to be restored in the hopes that we will soon welcome our sisters and brothers back.
