3 years on since October 7th...
And we need to ask.
Are we still stuck in the same conceptzia?
Because look at what is happening right in front of us:
🚨 The Palestinian Authority has built an army on Israel’s doorstep.
Around 65,000 salaried security personnel. What we found are elite units training in urban warfare, breaching buildings, nighttime combat, mobile shooting operations and tactical parachuting.
Call them “security forces” if you want.
They are training for war.
🪖 Dozens of PA security officers have already been involved in terrorism against Israelis.
Between 2020 and March 2024 alone, we identified 78 PA security personnel involved in terrorism: 46 killed while carrying out attacks, 25 arrested for terrorism-related activity and seven wounded during attacks.
You want to use "incentives" to "reform" mass murderers?
🚧 And while all of this is happening, the security buffer protecting Israel’s center is being swallowed up.
We mapped 16,866 illegal Palestinian structures in Area C within just one kilometer of the separation barrier.
Thousands of structures pushing into the very space meant to provide strategic depth between PA-controlled territory and Israeli communities.
Some are within small-arms range.
Let us guess the answer 🧠...
There’s a fence.
There are security forces.
The situation is under control.
We've heard this before.
Before October 7, Israel had intelligence.
It had technology.
It had one of the most sophisticated border barriers on earth.
It also had a conceptzia.
A belief that Hamas wanted quiet.
A belief that economic incentives could restrain ideology.
A belief that the fence would hold.
A belief that every warning sign could be explained separately until the whole picture disappeared.
October 7 destroyed that conceptzia. Or at least, it was supposed to.
A fence does not make the threat behind it disappear.
A uniform does not make an armed man a partner for peace.
Military training does not become harmless because the unit belongs to the Palestinian Authority.
And thousands of structures advancing toward Israel’s population centers don't become strategically irrelevant because someone calls them a “planning issue.”
Three years later, the warning signs are here.
The question is whether we're gonna do something about them.

@real_IHN_isback@NatConTalk@bezalelsm What exactly do you want from him? He could have walked away from the government and sat in opposition complaining about all the things the government refused to do, or he could influence as much as possible from within whilst holding his own views.
@real_IHN_isback@NatConTalk@bezalelsm But it isn't nonsense. At the moment Israel is enmeshed with the US. That's the current reality. But Israel needs to become independent of the US and have a more balanced allyship going forward. That's the essence of his speech.
@real_IHN_isback@NatConTalk@bezalelsm Yes, Finance not Defence. And I actually said that the best he can do is influence. But he isn't the decision maker in the Cabinet. Also, unfortunately, at the moment Israel is enmeshed with the US - hence Smotrich's speech about changing that equation.
Palestinians setting fire to Palestinian property and the Jews are blamed for this lie as “settler violence” because the media desperately needs Jews to be the villains for daring to live in their homeland.
@real_IHN_isback@NatConTalk@bezalelsm What do you mean 'telling stories'? His own personal position isn't necessarily reflected in the security decisions of the government since he's not PM with big mandates. He can influence, but he can't decide so has to be pragmatic. This is his own stance.
The aggressor in a war must relinquish territory lost in its war of aggression in order to disincentivize attacks on peaceful neighbors.

There is no justification for demanding that Western countries absorb Middle Eastern populations again and again.

Americans have American interests, Europeans have European interests, and Israel has Israeli interests. Sometimes they overlap, and sometimes they diverge…

Israel must bear a growing responsibility for its own security and develop military independence...
We respect the right & the duty of the US to put the American people at the top of its priorities.

@Sergulion@gregg_mashberg How easy is it to enter the code? The Indian pilot didn't mention doing it. He said he was hit on the head from behind and his vision became very blurry. He just spoke about trying to get the door open even as he was being attacked. What's your theory?
@Sergulion@gregg_mashberg How do you know the emergency code was entered before the cockpit door was opened? Couldn't the backup pilot have entered the cockpit, hit emergency code, stabilised the plane, had a discussion with the others about the situation, then hit the hijack code?
@Sergulion@gregg_mashberg Where did you get the information from? Can the emergency code activate automatically if the plane veers off its trajectory sharply or if the engines are switched off?
@sabra_the The NAZA effect. Accuse Israel of indiscriminate killing so the most moral army goes out of its way to prove that it does not kill 'innocent' civilians and therefore misses its target. Ffs.😡
