@hydroquebec no power for 42 hours and counting (May 29 ~16h30). I am curious why the info-pannes keeps updating the "start of power outage" time -- right now it shows that the outage started on May 30. Gaslighting? Mistake?
@DominosCanada My "extra sauce" domino's pizzas are always very light on sauce, but this one takes the cake. There couldn't be less sauce if they tried.
@robert22480@RogersHelps Possibly. I see this packet loss: 0% loss to Distributel's Ottawa router; 10% loss to Toronto; and 30%+ loss after those first hops. I assumed Rogers only provides the "last mile" connectivity between home and the first Acanac/Distributel router; I could be wrong.
@robert22480@RogersHelps Don't be so sure that Rogers is at fault here (this time). Acanac's tweet said that there is an issue with an upstream provider, but I suspect the issue is with Distributel this time, not Rogers.
@Itwitius Hi Tim, as I started reading your young readers edition of Prisoners of Geography, I noticed that there is a typo for Russia's total area. It should read 6.5 million square miles instead of 65 million.
@TD_Canada My problem isn't that there us a long wait. My problem is that I get dropped to the back of the line after waiting on hold for nearly two and a half hours. Frustrating. Unless you have the ability to place me in a call-back queue, I doubt there is anything a DM will accomplish.
@elonmusk@SpaceXStarlink Congrats on CRTC approval in Canada! Please get those transceivers shipped up the Great White North so that we can finally have some decent rural connectivity! (I signed up for Beta months ago, and am really looking forward to Starlink service here)
@elonmusk@SpaceXStarlink ideally, one should be able to provide service coordinates (as well as a billing address); some remote locations that would benefit most do not have an address. PS - I have a remote property, and would LOVE to beta test
@TD_Canada "Thank you for continuing to hold. A representative will be with you shortly."
I have heard this countless times over the past THREE HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. For goodness sake, get a callback system in place so people are not waiting on hold for hours on end.
@VIA_Rail while I am sharing thoughts on the website, I would also suggest that you find a way to reduce the number of pages to click through after selecting the trains. There are no fewer than 5 pages to click through before the tickets are booked, even when using a rail pass.
@VIA_Rail Please please PLEASE put a "LOGIN" or "SIGN IN" button on the front page of your website again. The "My VIA Profile" link is not at all intuitive (not to mention the fact that the "My VIA Profile" page requires that you click the "LOGIN" button. Frustrating design.
@IntelSupport
I am having issues getting Intel CAS for Linux running in VMware guest (following steps in Admin Guide). I am trying to use write-back mode to increase write performance due to slow SAN. Fails to write data to cache with I/O errors. Please advise.
