This is an awful and shocking episode, where there was no criminality, but perhaps a complicated private life. That doesn’t feel very private now. I hope that will give some cause to reflect. They really need to. I wish @thehuwedwards well.
Your unnecessary reminder, that our uniforms don’t include air con 🥶 as standard & it is *not* news worthy to ‘spot’ Officers having a cool refreshing break from the sunshine & warm weather…😉☀️
I shouldn’t have to say this, but there we are, now it’s Crystal. #ThinBlueLine 🚨
For those who don’t know, we attend a #MentalHealth call every four minutes because the call poses a threat to life.
So, this sadly means pretty much nothing.
We need a better #MentalHealth emergency and medical service for all.
Not Cops turning up because no one else will. 🚨
We celebrated the hard work and dedication of our Police Support Volunteers during our annual Citizens in Policing Awards last night 🎉 Volunteers came together with family, friends, police officers and staff to mark another incredible 12 months 👏

This isn’t actually true for all children. Yes, for some school is a safe place, with structure and where their needs are met more than at home. But, for many, especially neurodivergent kids, school can trigger intense anxiety day after day, leading to trauma and burnout.
This is really important.
Sajid Javid rightly says that dementia research needs government backing, and that there needs to be radical improvements in prevention.
A big part of this needs to focus on how menopause and HRT influence dementia risk.
We have already seen some research supporting that women women taking body identical HRT have a lower future risk of dementia, and many studies have shown that dementia risk is greater the longer a woman is without her hormones.
It’s time now that we see larger studies and controlled clinical trials looking at the role of female hormones in relation to dementia so we can understand this better and start to see a change: https://t.co/tBcxY4mX9B
Suella Braverman keeps repeating that the Rwanda scheme etc is the “will of the British people”
If, like me, you’re British, & this is not your “will” let her know by retweeting this please.
We deserve to be heard
