Back when I was streaming the space/culture back then(2015-2018) was electric and so much fun even as a small content creator. The streaming culture now is so abysmal and has been for a long time. It's a pale shadow of what it used to be and I feel better being away from it.

Outside of the Marathon vs Arc convo. I think this is a perfect reflection of the way streaming (especially from larger creators) is no longer about taste making and way more about trend following which is why I’m losing interest in the space as a viewer. It used to be super fun to find diamonds in the rough, but it just continues to be the same folks playing the same games with the same group of people. It’s kinda boring.
