@jeff_xrp@crazypuce The filing says she’d stipulate to her “involvement in the underlying conduct,” not criminal guilt. The jury would still decide criminal responsibility and mental state—a distinction recognized under Massachusetts law. That distinction is the entire point of an NGRI defense.
@LibertyJen@cautionjudi Part of psychosis is thinking people can hear your thoughts. And since you watched the trial you do remember when it was testified that Lindsey asked her mom if she could hear her thoughts and that she was worried people could hear her thoughts
@catnjustme@bbq_counselor She got what is called a Jefferson Fracture. A Jefferson fracture is cause by a high-impact fall onto the head or a diving accident.
@EricFra59836013@sophiathebold You are leaving out one tiny detail: Patrick was the source. Dr. Saathoff testified Patrick told him she crushed them in a tumbler—and Reddington pointed out the tumbler’s contents were never tested so how would Patrick know if he wasn’t there at the time it happened
@Jason7239315677@MariahMaeXO_ Maybe read the jury instructions before declaring what the jury is deciding. They’re instructed to consider 1st-degree murder, 2nd-degree murder, manslaughter, NGRI, or not guilty.
@FaithLikeAbish2 I take screenshots of the items on Temu and search the picture on Amazon. And sometimes I find or something similar to what is on Temu
@Zarkkill@crazypuce Nope. That’s not how criminal trials work. She hasn’t been “already found guilty.” The jury still has to reach a verdict on the charges and then address the insanity issue. Maybe learn the process before calling people morons.
@aflacky33 Yes. “Not Guilty” is an option. The jury can find her guilty of 1st-degree murder, guilty of 2nd-degree murder, guilty of manslaughter, not guilty,
not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility (NGRI) and they decide separately on each of the three counts.
@lisaharold23 I thought this too. But I have a kid that needs medication regularly. And I wonder if they had some at home but she used the last of that day. So it was a hey if you are going out can you pick this up kind of thing.
@Joeeyfetta@LindaTurne30674@BrandiNChurch She used Google Maps for the restaurant not cvs. But he would have to drive past CVS to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is only 15-20 minutes away from their house. So adding a 2-5 minute stop on the way to the restaurant would benefit her at all.
@NoahKeikestein@RealDianeYap The data doesn’t support that claim. A 90,000+ case U.S. study found fathers killing sons was the largest category at 29.5%, vs. 22.1% for mothers killing sons. Filicide rates vary by victim age and sex so “give men custody and filicide drops” isn’t supported by the evidence.
