I liked it and I grew up with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Was it great? No. Is he a physical specimen of He-Man? No. But there was no woke messaging that I could pick up on and it was a fun movie. Don't go into it expecting 1987 Dolph Lundgren level seriousness, but imagine it more like a realistic version of the cartoon. Adam is a klutz but when he becomes He-Man, he has to learn what he's become and what his strength is like. This is a starter movie that will lead to a more fine-tuned sequel. I say give it time. The ending was a classic nod to the cartoon (everyone laughing) and that made me smile. The post credit scenes gave me hope too. I'll actually buy it when it comes to digital.

Don't trust the Squire app. Not only do they not process the payments themselves and there's no way to reach them other than via Whatsapp (they use Stripe as their payment processor and they have NO other ways to contact them) but if you ever need a refund they will give you the run around for months, then tell you they'll go ahead & give you a refund and to wait 7-10 days, but then turn around on day 11 and say they're not going to like a cruel joke. Then when you write back to ask why and to ask for help again, they send you back to the merchant starting the process all over again (and they even did this after knowing again and again that the merchant no longer has access to the account, which is why I sought their help originally). Pay cash or Zelle, avoid this! #squire

Oh the prime opportunity for two post credit scenes: mid-credits - She-Ra/Hordak and the post credits - tongue in cheek PSA like the cartoons about being nice to others and not being a bully or saying no to drugs. 😂

Danny, thank you, thank you, thank you so much for bringing this amazing concert to Dallas. I had a blast and it was a lifelong fan's dream come true. Hearing those pieces live and in-person gave me tears, smiles, and goosebumps and brought back many memories from over the years. l also brought my 70+ year old Mother and she said it was one of the best experiences she's ever seen and got so tickled by your energy and live performance. Thank you again for your talent, the music I've loved my whole life, and for bringing this experience to Dallas. We love you and can't wait to see you again!!!

Still on cloud nine after hearing @dannyelfman live at @DallasSymphony today... I was moved to tears at Edward Scissorhands, felt heroic with Batman/Batman Returns, got goosebumps with Beetlejuice, and filled with the joys of Nightmare Before Christmas. Thank you Danny and DSO for making this lifelong dream of hearing this beautiful music live a reality. 🥰
