Someone tell the @Royals that exit velocity isn’t a good statistic when it’s coupled with hitting directly at infield/outfield opponents. Who cares how hard it comes off the bat, you’re getting out EVERY TIME. #Royals

Cags has bad analytics against lefties yet he has little data on it due to his play compared to others on the team. You pitch hit him yet recency bias shows he might be a hot bat - you HAVE to factor that in. It’s insane that we have no real feelings to analytics 2/2

This is analytics. @Royals have analytics but no one “feels” them out. Numbers are nothing but context and reaction to said numbers are everything. When you have a plethora of data but react the wrong way, you lose. Period. #Royals need to learn to feel out the data.

Furthermore, hitting/pitching/manager need to be able to understand recency bias is acceptable in baseball. You go with a hot hand sometimes, you don’t immediately surrender to analytics if you KNOW recently it’s been different. Players get hot and cold - take Lynch/Cags 1/2

Man @Royals game plans are just ridiculous. They are too aggressive at the plate now and lead into easy outs with little given to the opposing pitchers pitch count. This season can’t be won unless they settle down into a rhythm and trust themselves over the numbers sometimes

No excuses @SportingKC - do better. Don’t care if your roster is crap, you don’t lose 5-0 and 6-0 in the span of 3 games. Ownership did us a disservice by not giving time to fill out the roster. It’s gonna be disastrous this year and frankly you should give STM a free pass.
