This William Ruto's government is practicing LABOR SLAVERY. RUTO and his enterprise—TSC, the Ministry of Education Kenya, Ministry of Healthy Kenya, National Treasury Kenya and PSC—are lying to Kenyans that they have increased teachers' pay and hired healthcare professionals. They prefer to pay professionals little to nothing while keeping more money for corruption. TSC offers an increase of KSh 800? Yet @TSC_KE is shouting at the top of its voice as though it were a KSh 5,000 increase!
Soon, @WilliamsRuto will be campaigning, claiming that he has increased teachers' salaries. The reality is that the increase is only KSh 800. What a mess!
The same way they keep telling Kenyans that he has employed 100,000 teachers, yet 44,000 of them are JSS intern teachers earning a net pay of KSh 17,000. A teacher is employed on an internship basis and earns less than the minimum wage paid to a housemaid, as set by the same government (housemaid = KSh 18,050; B.Ed teacher = KSh 17,000). Education for Kenyan children has been given zero importance. How will the new CBE education be implemented by demoralized teachers? Where is the future of Kenya when education cannot be handled the way it is supposed to be? Will an overworked JSS teacher, teaching five learning areas instead of two subjects, while also being demoralized and financially stressed, perform effectively when implementing the new CBE education system in Kenya?
The Ministry of Health Kenya is hiring healthcare professionals as interns on low pay, yet they carry the same full workload as permanently and pensionably employed staff. An underpaid doctor is left to treat poor Kenyans. Meanwhile, when government leaders fall sick, they travel overseas to receive treatment from well-paid doctors in the USA, the UK, Canada, India, and other countries, while poor Kenyans are left to be treated by demoralized and financially stressed doctors.

South Africa🇿🇦 has been warned it may need to take over Johannesburg to prevent the country’s commercial capital from sliding into financial collapse.
The warning comes as Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana threatens to withhold R8 billion ($486 million) in annual funding if the city fails to fix its finances.
Business leaders say Johannesburg’s deteriorating finances now pose a national economic risk because the city contributes about 16% of South Africa’s🇿🇦 GDP.
Years of political instability, rising debt and declining infrastructure have left Africa’s richest city facing one of its deepest governance crises.

When does @WilliamsRuto rest? Never again should we elect a control freak from the Moi school of politics. This penchant for spending our resources gallivanting all over, lecturing the country 8 days a week and personally supervising every little thing is the stuff of autocrats

The High Court has declared parts of Kenya's current bursary system unconstitutional.
The court said the system lacks transparency and allows some students to receive multiple bursaries while others get none.
Today was another clear demonstration that the Kenya Kwanza Government is delivering on its promise to connect, transform and grow our Nation through infrastructure.
Together with my colleague CS @rebecca_miano and PS @Roads_KE Eng. Joseph Mbugua, launched the upgrading to bitumen standard of the 23km Kwa Haraka–Kageraini–Rwanyambo–Karangatha–Kinamba Road and the 37km Ithagani–Ngorika–Mbaruk/Kanyiriri Road in Nyandarua County.
These projects will unlock markets for our farmers, improve road safety, enhance access to schools, health facilities and government services, while creating jobs and driving economic growth.
We also inspected the progress of the historic Ndaragwa–Kanyagia–Subuku and Maili Kumi–Subuku–Shamata roads to ensure every commitment translates into visible progress on the ground.
🇧🇫🇫🇷Burkina Faso formally end all diplomatic relations with France:
In a news that is likely to send shockwave across the imperialist world, Burkina Faso announced it is ending diplomatic relations with France, following the EU resolution that was spareheaded by Paris.
The consequences of this decision is that the French embassy in Burkina Faso will will forced to close .
I welcome the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
This is a critical step away from escalation. Because there can be no peace in the Middle East with Lebanon in flames.
My thanks to the US for the mediation.
Key next steps are the disarmament of non-state groups and preserving Lebanese sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The EU stands ready to support this path to lasting regional stability, also with the continued delivery of much needed humanitarian aid with € 100 million mobilised for the displaced.
